| The
Frolic#10 event is now History.
The 2009 Fredericksburg Frolic
was a tremendous success; not because of any one
sole contributor, but because:
- a whole
group of individuals came together to make it possible.
- Coordinators
and volunteers (close to 40 people)
- freely
devoted hours,
- effort,
- energy
into planning, coordinating, and conducting activities.
- The weather
could not have been better for most of the day.
- Nearly 250
bicyclists participated.
- People
enjoyed not only the ride but also the
way they were treated, and they
Loved the Food.
What
an accomplishment!!
We also want
to thank the bicyclists themselves. Bicyclist came
from all over Texas and from as far away as Colorado. Your positive
feedback and enjoyment of the event also contributed to our success.
Many participants
look forward to doing it again next year and so
do we.
The 2009
Board Members of the Hill Country Bicycle Touring Club say
Thank you and Bravo
for a job well done.
Finally,
Maya Brandenberger, from Houston, TX,
was The Big Door Prize
this year at our 10th Frolic. The prize was a
downtown San Antonio Helicopter ride for two, with
the Alamo Helicopter Tours.
Because of her home location, she indicated that she would' not
be available to use it. So, she graciously donated her prize to
one of the Frolic#10 Volunteers,
Vanessa Leal.

We are looking
forward for next year, for another successful Fredericksburg
Fall Foliage Frolic (FFFF) Ride.
